Today, it’s become common practice to eat in front of a screen. You eat while working on your computer, while browsing social media on your phone, and while watching your favorite shows. Unfortunately, this can be harmful in two ways:
- It can leave you feeling stuffed because you ate so fast that your brain didn’t have time to register how full you were until after the damage was done.
- It can leave you feeling dissatisfied because your mind was thinking about something else instead of enjoying the experience of eating the meal in front of you.
