“Yesterday was one of those days where good intentions met reality’s brick wall [. . .] Sometimes life laughs at your perfectly organized schedule and reminds you who’s really in charge. But here’s the beautiful thing about time: it keeps moving forward, and so do we. Today arrives with zero judgment about yesterday’s missed opportunities. Fresh 24 hours, clean slate, new chance to show up. Stumbling isn’t failure, it’s part of the dance. Life is messy, schedules explode, responsibilities multiply faster than we can manage them. We all have jobs that demand more than we planned to give, families that need us present, obligations that don’t care about our workout windows. That’s not weakness. That’s being human. Time to take that deep breath, extend some grace to the person trying to balance it all, and remember that progress isn’t always linear. Keep moving forward, even when forward looks like starting over.”

Reflections

Another thoughtful reflection from Andy Glaze. I posted a quote from him last week that was also very insightful (find it here).

My favorite part of this quote:

“Today arrives with zero judgment about yesterday’s missed opportunities.”

A good reminder that life moves on, and so should we. Dwelling on what could or should have been is never useful; it only holds us back. We must let go of yesterday’s shortcomings and focus on the here and now.

“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” – Arthur Ashe

Today is a new day. Start fresh. One foot in front of the other, we keep moving forward.
